Materials at Lodger: quality, comfort and durability
At Lodger, we are all about comfort, safety and quality. We carefully choose soft, breathable and durable materials. Thanks to our special knitting technique, the fabrics are extra supple and stretchy for optimal wearing comfort.
Ciumbelle cotton - Our premium cotton with a waffle texture that feels soft on baby's skin. This cotton stays beautifully shaped and super soft even after frequent washing. Thanks to the waffle texture, every basic in Ciumbelle becomes instantly special.

Seersucker cotton - This lightweight, airy cotton has a unique wrinkle structure that prevents the fabric from sticking directly to the skin. This provides extra ventilation and makes the fabric ideal for hot summer days. Because our seersucker is knitted rather than woven, it remains supple and does not become stiff after washing.

Solid (Matcha) cotton - The hydrophilic nappy can no longer be left out of baby gear. Unique to Lodger's Solid is the knitted technique in 100% organic cotton, which makes this fabric extremely suitable for sensitive baby skin.

Merino wool: naturally warm and breathable
For our baby essentials, such as slippers, we sometimes use Merino wool, one of the softest and most breathable wools. Merino wool is made of a very fine and thin wool hair, so it easily bends to your baby's skin. This ensures that Merino wool does not sting, but feels silky soft. Ideal for sensitive baby skin. Merino wool is naturally temperature-regulating, retaining warmth in cold temperatures and releasing excess heat in warmer temperatures. Moreover, it is self-cleaning, so you hardly need to wash it.
