5 tips to create a perfect holiday with infant at home

Do you want to create the ultimate vacation feeling with your little one? Read more and discover fun tips for a holiday with infant at home.

Tip 1 Airy clothes

Is it going to be a hot day? A bodysuit short sleeve is easy to pull on as a clothing piece, and very breathable. Do not forget to use sun protection, even when your baby is in the shadow.

Tip 2 Create a cozy tent

Build a tent with large muslins and swaddle clips to create shadows. Attach the muslin to multiple chairs and put a swaddle on the ground. In a few minutes, you have created a tent and play mat to let your baby and toddler play on. How fun to do this together with your children!

Tip 3 Fun with water and sand

Did you buy a little pool for your children in the yard during your holiday with infant? Babies love to play in the sand, you can create your beach by adding some sand next to the water. Your little one will play for hours! After playing and swimming you can dry your baby in a hooded towel and wrap it in a swaddle which will keep your baby warm and comfortable.

Tip 4 Picnicking in the yard

Have a picnic with your baby and/or toddler in the garden for the perfect feeling of a holiday with infant. First, you will make delicious food with your little one: cookies, croissants, jam, fruit mix, and other yummy snacks. Then, put a large muslin on the ground with some pillows and eat your self-made food. Also very nice to ask the grandmother and grandfather so your baby can show them his self-made food.

Tip 5 Strolling around

Want to go outside to a quiet place during your holiday with infant? Go for a stroll in the forest, dunes, or park. Visit a place where it isn’t too crowded and go hiking with your family. A muslin cloth is very convenient as a blanket or protection from the sun.

Is it bad weather? You can make a cuddle doll with swaddles and filling with your toddler. Buy some nice textile ornaments for the details. Who can make the prettiest doll?
